At the moment, it's my contention that AI is still in its infancy, and in no way is it ready to take the reins without human intervention. Over the past couple of years, I have got to understand what AI is capable of, (i) its use in the Quora discussion forum, and (ii) Microsoft's AI conversation tool Copilot (i) Quora AI - (a) members have frequently complained that their answers or comments have been declared invalid by the AI censor. This has happened to me on a few occasions, and each time, I have had the challenges overturned by humans; (b) Quora has developed the prompt generator that asks questions, the vast majority aimed at atheists, the purpose to expose the error of atheistic thinking. (ii) Copilot. (a) It is relatively easy tripping up Copilot. You ask it a question, it responds with a politically correct answer, You respond with 'but what about so-and-so? and it responds with 'oh yes, you are quite right (b) Copilot and music. Ask Copilot what it thinks of Mahler's symphonies, and it will reveal an entire universe of magical meaning, but the problem is Copilot cannot hear music, and this renders all its musical opinions null and void. (c) Describe some ideas, Copilot does not describe its ideas; instead, it encourages you expand on your own ideas. I understand Copilot is not permitted to divulge what other people think, and it is not very good at criticising or challenging your ideas. Last week, nearly 800 generals and admirals and other high ranking officers were forced to listen to gibberish uttered by Trump and Hegseth. Why? Was this an example of genius AI in action?
