Adrian Dingle

Adrian Dingle is a chemistry educator and author, with 35 years of experience teaching in the United States and the U.K. He is the creator of the award-winning chemistry website Adrian Dingle’s Chemistry Pages. He has focused his career on preparing students for standardized tests, such as AP and SAT subject tests in the U.S., GCSEs and A levels in the U.K., and the International Baccalaureate in both countries. He lives in Indiana, where he teaches at Canterbury School. He previously taught at The Culver Academies in Culver, IN, and Atlanta, GA, at The Westminster Schools, and in the U.K. for ten years. In addition to writing REA’s best-selling “AP Chemistry Crash Course” review book, he has written several other chemistry titles, including “The Periodic Table: Elements With Style” and “How To Make A Universe With 92 Ingredients.” He is the 2011 winner of the School Library Association of the UK’s Information Book Award, and in 2012 was honored with the Wissenschaftsbuch des Jahre prize. In 2015, he was elected as the inaugural High School Ambassador on the governing board of the American Association of Chemistry Teachers. His other writing credits include his most recent book, “Chemistry100 Ideas in 100 Words: A Whistle-Stop Tour of Chemistry’s Key Concepts,” written in association with The Science Museum of London. He is a member in good standing with RSC, ACS, NASW, SCBWI, ABSW, and AACT.
